The Insects are Coming!

We will be kicking off our year with a unit on insects. Students will learn about their characteristics, protective colouration, life cycles and much more. Please feel free to bring in any books or resources that you would like to share with the class. As part of our learning experience, students will be traveling to the Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge to watch the metamorphosis first hand. We would love to have parents accompany us so let us know if you are able to attend. We can accomodate six parents per class on the bus. Please note that there will be plenty of opportunities to join us on other trips throughout the year. More information to follow!

Homework

Please make sure that you are completing the homework logs every week. Students should be using study ladder every week to practice their basic math skills. Please note that the study ladder (www.studyladder.ca) is a great resource for practicing literacy skills as well. If you have forgotten your passwords, please email Mrs. Spivak or Mrs. Mitchell and we will send you a reminder.
